The city of Gran Soren flourished. However, beneath its hustle and bustle lay a dark secret — the ruins of Everfall. It was a place of decay and rot, plagued by the undead. It also holds a deepest evil — the Ur-Dragon, with its rotten flesh and hellish flames.

Indeed, only the mightiest and bravest of heroes could defeat this undead dragon, though the reward is worth it. Among the Ur-Dragon's various drops is Ascalon — a legendary sword made from metal that is said to come from the gods themselves. However, acquiring the sword gets progressively more difficult. Due to its undead nature, the Ur-Dragon grows stronger each time it is killed. Moreover, those who fight the dragon are given only 8 minutes, after which it will fly away. The Ur-Dragon's hearts, which are scattered throughout parts of its body, are vulnerable to attacks.
Ascalon's power can be increased up to three times by imbuing the sword with dragon scales. Thereafter, its user can max out its power through dragonforging — which involves defeating a dragon with the sword.
A sword wrought of an unknown metal imbued with holy light, giving its blade an otherworldly glow.
