SWORD WITH NO NAME

In a faraway land, there lies a magical kingdom, which is in perpetual threat from evil sorcerers. Unfortunately, local heroes are in short supply. In desperation, the most powerful wizards created the Sword with No Name. Its sole task is to travel through time, seeking out a hero who is capable of saving the land. Since a name couldn't be decided upon, they named it the Sword with No Name.

The sorcerer, Riezenkampff has chosen to unleash his evil powers upon the kingdom. As such, the Sword with No Name quickly got to work. After some searching, it finally chose an ordinary modern-day man. Apparently, he was showing off to his wife by recklessly swinging a plastic sword at a medieval fair. 

In any case, the sword saw him as a hero. Suddenly, the man found himself transported free of charge to a bizarre land — and tasked with defeating Riezenkampff. He had no choice, since only by completing the task could he return home. Besides, he always wanted to be a hero, and earn the admiration of maidens.

Fortunately, he has nothing to fear with the Sword with No Name by his side. The sword heats up in eagerness whenever enemies are in the vicinity. It is a sword of justice and honor, and will never harm an innocent. It has also gained a lot of combat experience after being involved in many battles. As such, it can provide advice that is invaluable, especially in dangerous situations. Furthermore, it is enchanted to deal grave injuries to villains. Hence, it is able to take up the slack — even if its chosen hero turns out to be lacking.
