In Terraria, Excalibur is touted as a legendary sword, and is sought
after by many warriors. Indeed, the sword is much more powerful than
other swords. However, one could only acquire Excalibur through
crafting. It is made from an almost indestructible metal alloy
consisting of cobalt, mythril and adamantite, which in turn are melted
down from their respective swords. The sword is then powered up by
infusing it with 20 Souls of Might.

Excalibur
covers a wide arc when swung. As such, it is excellent against groups
of enemies. The length of its blade and its knockback effect are
effective in keeping creatures at bay; while the slight sparkle it emits
during an attack adds to its ‘cool’ factor. When the user equips
Excalibur and the Titan Glove, he is able to push enemies even further
away. Also, the sword is part of the Hallowed Tier. Consequently, it
increases in power when its user dons the Hallowed Armor Set.
While Excalibur is powerful, it comes with a price. At times, the sword would possess a weak-willed user, forcing him to stand still and swing the sword for all eternity.
