Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes |
Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, wields Ea exclusively. The sword is
ancient — it was forged by the gods even before the birth of humanity.
|
Ea |
Consequently, Ea
transcends all notions of a typical sword. It resembles a lance rather
than a sword, with a vamplate as its crossguard. Its blade is what makes
the sword special — consisting of a pillar that is separated into three
rotating segments and engraved in cuneiform. Although Ea lacks a sharp
edge, its divine power surpasses all other swords in existence. Its
physical strength is also unmatched, since it was forged from materials
beyond the mortal world.
Ea is an unknown. As such, it can never be replicated or recreated.
The sword commands such power that no mortal can look upon the sword
without cowering in fear. Indeed, Ea is so powerful that it is capable
of sending all living things into oblivion. Consequently, it is seen as
an anti-world weapon. It is also said to be the key to unlocking the
world’s deepest secrets that date back to the beginning of time.

Enuma Elish unleashed
|
Although Gilgamesh has many swords, he treasures Ea the most, such
that he would only wield it against opponents whom he deemed worthy. Out
of all the Noble Phantasms, the sword is considered to have no equal.
Ea’s singular attack is Enuma Elish, which Gilgamesh unleashed during
his fight with Iskandar, the King of Conquests.
“Come to me, leader of conquering armies. You will now behold the form of a true king.”
“To unite dreams beneath a banner of conquest…I praise your
efforts. But warriors, do you not understand. That all dreams eventually
disappear when the dreamers wake.”
“Therefore, it is inevitable that I would stand in your way. King
of Conquests, you will learn the conclusion to your endless dream.”
“Awaken, Ea! A stage worthy of you has been set. Look up and behold. Enuma Elish!”

Iskandar, the King of Conquests
|
With those words, the King of Heroes materialized Ea from the Gate of
Babylon. Its blade turned with such power that the earth trembled, and a
shrilling howl pierced the heavens. When Ea drew max power, it
unleashed a single strike — creating a dimensional rift that utterly
engulfed Iskandar’s thousand-strong armies. Ea’s might was too much for
Iskandar. In the end, the sword pierced the King of Conquests,
destroying his vital organs and killing him in an instant.
