Beastmaster Sword

THE BEASTMASTER
taking up the Beastmaster Sword

Maax, an evil sorcerer, plotted against King Zed. However, Maax's plans were in jeopardy after he chanced upon a prophecy. It described his death at the hands of the king’s unborn son — Dar. As such, Maax had to kill Dar before he was born. However, he did not want to rouse any suspicions before his plans came to fruition.

Hence, Maax ordered one of his witches to transfer Dar into a cow's womb. He would then kill Dar after the cow gave birth to him, with no one being the wiser. Alas, Maax made a mistake in using a cow that was raised by a farmer — and once-mighty warrior. The farmer realized the situation and killed the witch, thus saving Dar.

The farmer raised Dar as his own since no one came to claim the child. Growing up, Dar lived a simple but fulfilling life in the village of Emur. He also became a fine warrior since his father taught him combat skills. The circumstances surrounding his birth had a surprising effect — he developed the ability to communicate with animals telepathically. He could even ‘borrow’ their eyes to scout the surroundings.

Dar seeking vengeance

Alas, such peace could not last forever. Maax finally tracked Dar down, and instigated the Jun Horde to lay waste to the village. However, Dar survived. Looking for revenge, he took up his father’s sword. Over time, Dar's relationships with all beasts earned him the title 'Beastmaster'. Consequently, his sword was called the Beastmaster Sword.

Dar had to overcome many challenges before he finally hunted down Maax. With the Beastmaster Sword, he defeated his arch-nemesis, thus fulfilling the prophecy.
